Kansas Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) offers many kinds of assistance:

Per January 2016 responsibility for Medicaid (KanCare) for the elderly and disabled has been moved to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE).

The Kansas Legal Services now offer in a new statewide Elder Rights Project assistance by attorneys in case of elder abuse: financial exploitation, physical abuse, sexual abuse, psychological abuse.
Such cases could include but is not limited to: protection from abuse or stalking; nursing home abuse; civil suits to recover financial losses from an abuser; explanations of criminal court processes; bankruptcy; revocation of power of attorney; divorce; landlord-tenant issues; collection cases; Kansas Consumer Protection Act violations.
Report abuse by phoning 911 (in case of emergency) or Adult Protective Services 1-800-922-5330.
